BayFolio was born from this same human spirit.
In 2008, one of our co-founders watched his parents lose their retirement savings to poor investment advice. The financial experts they trusted had navigated them straight into a storm. As a financial advisor with a passion for history, he remembered how ancient mariners used stars, maps, and experience to find safe passage through dangerous waters.
He built BayFolio on a simple truth:
